that’s nice to hear! I don’t really like campus unis which is why I like Bristol a lot. the 2 grades reduction is a bonus as well.

they gave bristol personalised: chocolate, power bank, highlighters, notebook, tote bag, pencil case and water bottle. hopefully you get it soon!
I'm doing the one for psychology!

You know the email we got on the 17/05/2024, it mentions 'Halls of Residence' and 'accommodation' on the timetable. Does this mean we need to go to the university for the summer school? I thought because it was virtual it would be from home, but now I'm confused because the email implies we need to stay at the university. Am I misunderstanding things? Please help 😭

I think the halls of residence are just mentors that will be talking to us to see how we are doing and if we have any questions. The accommodation part is probably just an accommodation talk so maybe the prices and what options there are!

That's what I was thinking as well but as you can tell by my username I overthink everything haha. Thank you so much for your reply. I literally made an account just to ask this question haha. I sent Uni of Bristol an email anyway and they said they'd reply in like 5 working days so hopefully they can also ease my worries 🥲

Yes, will do. I don't see why we would have to go to the uni, especially since it's going to be online anyways, but I just wanted to be sure bc the email doesn't make it very clear. I'm sure if we did have to go into the uni they would have asked us more details like dietary requirements and all that right 😅

Hey! So they replied and confirmed it's all online (phew). They described the halls of residence as a virtual room you can chat to other students which seems interesting!

I had an appointment during the student finance session yesterday so I came late, but I attended every session all day, because of that I wasn't registered and am now kicked out and no one is replying to my emails

Ah I'm sorry to hear that >_< You sent the email yesterday, right? When I emailed them I got an automatic reply saying someone would reply within 5 working days. When you say kicked out, is the zoom link no longer working for you, or were you just not allowed to join back yesterday? Hopefully they can sort it out for you soon...

Hi I received an email this morning saying my name has been added to the register now, but I have still not received an email for the link for todays zoom meeting. Sorry, by saying kicked out I meant I was not sent the zoom meeting link for today but I was able to continue through yesterday's session. Have you received the link for today's session yet?
