Line breaks are not respected when quoting on React unlike ST2

Problem Details
When you quote a post on react, the link breaks are not respected, they are simply removed so things appear as a big block of text.

When copying and pasting two rows of text in ST2, the line breaks are not respected once again in that the text will automatically leave a line break between the rows rather than sticking together (in hurt/heal games).

Hi. I'm not quite sure how to replicate the problem you are seeing. I've tried replying on a hurt/heal thread with a quote and it has the new lines in. Have you got an example post where the new lines have been removed in the quote? Or could you post a screen shot if its an issue in the editor please?

You just need to quote any post that has line breaks on the react system to replicate the first issue

To replicate the second issue you need to be on ST2 and copy and paste a post that’s 2 rows.

To test this:

Simba- 30
Mustafa- 30

If you copy those two lines above (at least on mobile) on ST2, the lines will split up and automatically create a space between them so you’re manually having to remove the space between the lines each time rather than it sticking to its original format and not creating a space.

Thank you for the extra information. I will log a bug for the react issue. I will ask about the ST2 problem but I don't think its likely to get fixed because we aren't actively working on that. Thanks again!
