English Lang or Lit for College

I was confused because the requirements for this college are a "5 in English", does this mean I have to get a 5 in English Language or Literature, and if I fail Literature do I have to redo it.

If you get a five in language and fail literature you won’t have to resit, if you fail English language you would have to resit!
