I am looking between uni of Leeds and uni of Exeter for law which one is better

Very different Uni environments.
Exeter is a modern campus Uni in the far west and a bit isolated, and full of students from London/the South.
Leeds is an older Uni, more urban, busy and has a much more mixed student population - and its cheaper than Exeter.

If you have not been to Open Days, are you able to visit either Uni before making a decision?

Hi denisa_ldnxx,

Thank you for your question!

I don’t study law, but I can tell you a little bit about the university and the student life.

I think Exeter is a very beautiful city overall. We’re close to two beaches, Exmouth and Dawlish, and it’s a very green place. It is on the smaller side for a city, but I find that it makes it feel a lot safer.

The Student’s Guild run a variety of awesome events all year round, and we have over 300 societies ranging from sports to volunteering, so there’s definitely something for you. There’s also the academic societies to join, where you can go to events relating to your discipline and meet your course mates.

All in all, both universities are great universities, and as another commenter has recommended, if you can go to an offer holder day. Ultimately, it’s whenever feels right for you in terms of the course, the uni, and the overall “vibe.” Best of luck!

Jen,
