What is the best type of revision, as I am in year10 and I have my end of year tests coming up but I don't know how to revise. Any advice??

Hi there,

Active testing has been scientifically proven one of the most effective ways to revise! The use of flashcards can be quite effective - and then testing your recall. Apps such as Anki and Quizlet tend to be good for these. Going over past papers can be quite helpful as well.

Hello,

My name is Haya and I’m a final year medic.

My top tip is to do a study method quiz, it will assess what is your study type.

I also like to use:

1.

Active recall:actively retrieving information from memory (by asking yourself questions)

2.

Spatial Repetition: involves spacing out review sessions over time to maximize retention.

3.

Pomodoro method

It is a lot of trial and error, but when you first your rhythm it will be much more effective.

Best of luck,
