I know you can do a levels unrelated to some courses in uni im just wondering if you can do the same if you do an access course?

I think It just depends on the requirements for the uni course. Some are very specific and will want a related Access course/A levels but some are more general

Hi, this is quite an old thread but in case you were still wondering, I thought I'd answer.
Generally, yes. However, check what you want to do at university and see if they have any subject requirements. I recommend checking various unis as some may ask for specific subjects while others don't, for the same course.
For example, English, they may require 'Access with at least 9 credits in a Literature subject' in which case, you'd need to take an English subject within your course.
If in doubt, ask the uni if they'd accept your subjects!
