uni required grades

So one of my chosen unis gave me an offer of BBC, but i was wondering if they would accept ACC, as its more attainable for me and im really stressed about getting a B in either of my weaker subjects.I was wondering because i know ACC is the same as BBC (112 tariff points) but i dont know if all unis would accept this.

They might, but they probably won't know until results day in August. At that point they will know whether they have spaces after admitting all those applicants who met their offers in full.

That said, you could always ask them now how they are likely to view ACC in August.

In either case it might depend on what you get in each subject.

Hi there,

Not all universities accept the UCAS Tariff points assigned by UCAS. Although ACC is indeed equivalent to BBC in terms of 112 tariff points, each university has its own policies regarding entry requirements.

Therefore, in order to get the most accurate information, reach out to the admission office of the university that gave you the BBC offer. Make sure to explain your situation, demonstrate interest in changing to ACC and ask about their policies regarding UCAS Tariff points.

I hope I managed to help!

Best of luck,

The OP doesn't want to "change" to ACC. It's something they are worried about getting.
