greenwich middlesex or teesside for animation

hello! ive recently got accepted to animation ba s in greenwich, middlesex and the 2d&stop motion at Teesside in Middlesbrough. I don't know where to go, greenwich's campus is gorgeous but their course seems too focused on 3d design, I want to do 2d and stop motion mostly but don't know what yet exactly.

which uni do you think is best, normally id pick Tessie but I'm in London and that's in Middlesbrough, is it wort the move? should I just pick between middlesex and greenwich? id really appreciate any type of help!

Hi, I'm from Middlesbrough, and I don't think anyone should come live here, to be honest.
Some pros are cheaper house prices and people tend to be friendly, easy to talk to, etc. But, coming from London, I can imagine you'd have a really rough culture shock here - where in London there's a variety of things in close range, here in Teesside our facilities and services are on their last breath. I can barely drive a mile without seeing dozens of closed down businesses. We also have the second highest crimes per 1000, highest knife crime, and one of the highest poverty stats.
You can take a visit if you like, see what you think but - ultimately, living here is quite miserable. I intend to get out as soon as possible. I've not heard well about the accomodation near Teesside uni either (and a lot of the accomodation is right next to linthorpe road, which gets very busy).
Hello! We're really proud of our 2D Animation and Stop Motion course here at Teesside. It is very career focused, you gain industry connections by attending events such as Animex, where we've had experts from Rockstar, Pixar, Disney and Sony.

If you're looking to know more about the area, you can find out more on our website here: https://www.tees.ac.uk/sections/fulltime/living_studying.cfm. And if you're looking for what accommodation is available, you can find out more at tees.ac.uk/accommodation.

Hope this helps🙂
