UCL or Bath for Pharmacy

Hi!

Can anyone share their thoughts on which university is better for studying Pharmacy - UCL or Bath?

Both universities are known for their strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research but which one offers a stronger value and strength in their Pharmacy (MPharm) degree?

I’d also like to know which has a better job prospects after graduation? I've heard that Bath has received high recognition for its recruitment outcomes in the past, but I'm not sure if that's still the case.

UCL, on the other hand, is very reputable both locally and internationally, managing to score highly for employer reputation. UCL has always maintained its positions in the top 10 as well.

If anyone has any opinions or personal experiences on either university that would be great!

No sadly not yet, they did tell me to wait for a response from them any time during the month of April.

I think both do pretty well with rankings in oriel, imo ucl being more recognised globally isnt so important for pharmacy since the NHS is the main employer and they don't really look at league tables. As long as you put in the effort to do well in the course you shouldn't struggle getting a job, so think about where you actually want to spend four years. currently at bath doing pharmacy and imo its a very good student city with lots to do

That sounds reassuring!

Which year are you currently in? and I'd love to hear more about your experience studying pharmacy at Bath.

How are you finding the workload and teaching there and also, does each student (from the same year) have an equal opportunity to go on placements?
