None of them? They all sucked big time, especially year 13.
I'm not sure if I voted the right year, but it was 8th grade for me. I turned 14 in that grade. So I'm guessing that's equal to Year 9.

Toughie. In Northampton we had a 3 tier system until about 5 years ago. As in Lower, Middle and Upper school.

Years R-4, 5-8 and then 9-11/12&13.

Year 9 was probably the BEST fun wise.. My school was in absolute anarchy, and everyday was just a joke. A LOT of happy and funny memories I'd give anything to go through again.

Year 11 was a close second, everybody in the year had matured.. And it was the last year that I saw all of my mates regularly, it's amazing how much I took just going out and having a huge footy match every lunch time for granted tbh.

Sixth is good.. But isn't anything on those two years.

Lower sixth, and upper is pretty fantastic right now, too :]
Year 8 - biggest doss ever. Went completely off the rails along with 4 of my usually well-behaved friends. Took the school by storm, had a riot and all the teachers hated me. It took me all of Years 9, 10 and 11 to win back my reputation as a well-behaved student lol, but my God it was worth it.
Its between year11 and 12. Year 11 was great because you know its yourlast year and everyone losens up socially, and year 12 was amazing because i went too college and took full advantage of the freedom of theplace and had an amazing time because it was all new, the place, people, subjects etc.

Year 5&6 was quite fun too, you thought you ruled the school being the eldest, i had an amazing teacher and had loads of fun, starring in thechristmas concerts, living for PE and having loads of fun.

High school bar year 11 was horrid for me, was insecure, bullied and virtuallly rarely spoke (people find that extremely hard to believe now haha). I hated the people i went to school with and they hated me, i remember having a panic attack on GCSE certificate evening from being back in thesame room as everyone whomade those 5 years of my life hell.

I'll answer the question seriously (oh yes, I shall).

4+ to Year 2 -- you're a young kid, and nothing is real. Homework, money, responsibilities, relationships; none of them exist. Your domain is the fantasy world of the playground, football, cartoons and video games. What's not to like?

Years 3 and 4 -- a change from infant to junior school. Largely uneventful, and I did quite a lot of work. Had flashes of the unruly, uncaring, person that would develop later in cover lessons with Mr. Owen; but we had fun in the end. Football and S Club 7 were the order of the day in year 3, whilst Pokemon cards would be the hallmark of year 4.

Year 5 -- quite fun. Some notable incidents; the tale of the toilet walls with excrement decor springs to mind. This time, spin the bottle and truth or dare were the rampant crazes.

Year 6 -- excellent year. Whilst at the mercy of a usually strict teacher, he became more relaxed as the year went on. Lessons consisted of banter about cricket, football and girls.

Year 7 -- my favourite. A new school, a new beginning. I just didn't care (a la William Wharton of The Green Mile), and as such had an inordinate amount of fun. Yes, my grades were terrible. Yes, I had a myriad of detentions. But I tell you, if I could go back, I'd do it again.

Year 8 -- perhaps dominated by unrequited love ":frown:". A semi-troublesome year, with a few friendship problems, but decent on the whole.

Year 9 -- a solid year. My propensity for trouble increased throughout the year, yet despite this I got excellent SATS results (highest in the school). Encountered some quirky students and teachers.

Year 10 -- eventful, in a way. A changeable year. Became increasingly tedious as the year grew older, however. My grades were poor (distracted), but on the up side, I made some excellent new friends.

Year 11 -- insanity (but not virtual, I'm afraid). Once again, I didn't care, but not in the good way. My appearance worsened, my attendance was shocking and my grades permanently suffered. Worse year ever. At least it was shorter.
