Redoing year

Hi there,
I'm studying radiography and in the second year, but I'm going to fail the year as don't have enough placement hours. I've been told that I will need to redo the year.
In terms of student finance and getting funded to redo the year, where do I stand? Will I get it funded? I have previous study already.
