Applying for PhD Funding with a 2:1

Is it possible to get funding for a PhD if you have a 2:1 in undergrad and masters? I want to apply for a PhD in Neuroscience and I don't know if I'll make the cut off.

I think you have to just make sure that you express how much you desire to undertake neuroscience within ur applications so that they can really see your passion shine through. I think also if u have previous research experience (such as summer placements, internships) that u sought out urself related to neuroscience. I know it’s difficult aswell so they may not expect it but just express ur passion for research. best of luck!

I got a 2:1 for my undergraduate and distinction for my master's, and I am applying this year for a PhD in cognitive neuroscience. I think it is possible to get a place, but funding applications are very challenging. However, I only applied for 3 programmes, and I think the chances will increase if you apply for more. Best of luck!
