Self Funded Year in Industry

Hi - I've taken out tuition and maintenance loans for the first two years of my course. Would I be able to choose to not make an application for a tuition or maintenance loan from SFE for my Year in Industry (year 3), and pay the tuition fees to my university myself from my wages, and would I still be able to apply for loans the following academic year (year 4)? Or would it be a case of still making an application with SFE (year 3), but putting £zero as my tuition fee loan?

Thanks,
Jack

Hi Jack,

Yes, this is completely fine.

You can choose not to apply to us for your year in industry, and then re-apply with us for the next year.

Thanks, Graeme
