My boyfriend’s friend and his dad.

Do anyone think this is odd?
My boyfriend’s best friend (M 26) when we go out together as a group I always catch him staring at me from the distance, he also came into my place of work to come in for the most random thing that we didn’t even sell, and told me he was suppose to be seeing my boyfriend and when I mentioned it my boyfriend said that he was never coming round? We went to his house for a snooker night and I caught him multiple times just staring at me, but when I talk to him he doesn’t seem toooo interested - so that is confusing.
Then on the weekend I went to a charity event and his dad and his wife was there. And I also caught his dad staring at me, and he even winked at me and I quickly turned my head the other way! But I won’t a raffle prize and his dad was hyping me up so much about it.
Does anyone just feel like this is a bit odd or what does it mean? Should I mention it to my boyfriend?
