Am I overthinking this ? (ADHD)

Mature student going Sheffield uni .This is a bit random and I’m a bit of an over thinker
I found someone else ( very nice person) who was also diagnosed with ADHD and on meds when the question of medication was spoken about I found that I was on doubble the dosage she was on . She was on 30mg and I was on 60mg when I told her this she was SO shocked , I don’t know if she was judging me for it or anything but I can’t stop thinking about it . Am I a bad person for sharing such information. Maybe she’s also looking to increase her dosage and I made her feel bad ? I don’t know I feel silly for even talking about this but did I do the wrong thing mentioning it ?was it appropriate? , I don’t want people to feel bad because of me or feeling a type of way towards me although I know that’s VERY unlikely I’m just overthinking probably. I know the medication process can be a stressful situation maybe I made her feel bad ?Thoughts ?

When she told you that she was on 30mg were you "SO shocked" that it was less that your 60mg? No? That's presumably because you're not a medical expert and so don't know why your dosage might be different to hers. (Maybe it's based on body weight, or gender, or how long you've been taking it, or some other factor I can't dream-up right now.)

In other words this is a "her" issue not a "you" issue. You were sharing details about your ADHD and your associated medication. There's absolutely nothing wrong with having done that. So stop overthinking this.

You are right in saying that you are overthinking. Absolutely nothing happened, there is no problem in asking that question.
The dosage of ADHD meds can be thought off like prescription for glasses, there is no one size fits all. Moreover, taking meds over a long time can develop tolerance requiring a higher dose. Dosage can also be related to body weight , for example a person weighing 80kg may require more of the the medication than say someone who is 50kg.
