Bayes vs qmul for accounting and finance

I am very stuck on what uni i should put as my firm choice for accounting and finance bsc:
City uol with AAB including maths
Qmul with AAB
Is bayes business school only good for students doing masters?
I checked on linkedin and acc found more qmul students in the big4 rather than city which is ranked higher and qmul is russel group but comes up lower in rankings and so idk please helpp!
Bayes, not much of a contest.

If it was City then yes QMUL but Bayes rivals the elites.

So the course links to bayes business school and not just city right? the course is undergraduate but idk why i feel like citys better for masters but maybe not highly ranked for undergraduate. Cuz i didnt see many on students in these years on linkedin with the big4 but for qmul i did.

I'm 2nd year accfin @ Bayes. I can't answer your question but I can give you my opinion and some information.

We are part of City UoL but we claim Bayes more often than not, mostly due to a better reputation. Bayes accfin has 10 modules per year and the rationale is to allow a competitive edge when being interviewed, whilst QMUL has the standard 8 modules/year. This will mean more workload but a good amount of modules do MCQs for 30% of module grade. Bayes is thinking of revising it to accomodate an 8 module curriculum, meaning it will mostly be an accounting course, so be aware of that. Right now if you do switch up (like I did) and want to go into banking/finance rather than accounting (audit/tax/fin/man reporting), Bayes provides better modules and rep in the industry. However, for accounting both uni courses can grant you exemptions (if you wish to take them) and the ACA you get 8 at Bayes and 6 at QMUL, ACCA 6 & 5 (max). I've heard Big4 will not allow you take exemptions and make you do all the tests so this may not matter. Repuatation wise, QMUL is better if an interviewer isn't aware of what a Bayes is but in general QMUL as a uni is much better than City. Socities/ social life is not good at City and the campus is passable. It sounds like you're limited to London so I'd go with QMUL as firm since Bayes accfin course does go into clearing at ABB afaik so you always have the choice to change. I'm not sure QMUL does though.

Hope this helps!
