Possible to transfer as a first year?

I had a foundation year, now doing first year. If i complete the first year can i transfer to another university?

It’s getting late in the cycle now.
If this is something you want to do then you need to get your UCAS application (including your pre-university qualifications and your current studies and a reference from your current university) in as quickly as possible (ideally within a week from now).
Transfer applications take longer than year 1 entry so the sooner you apply the more options you are likely to have.

There are a couple of issues here.

Firstly universities dont usually accept anothers foundation years and dont usually accept another universities students direct to year 2. Those that do usually expect a student to have the necessary entry qualifications for their course. You need to check whether the university you wish to transfer into will accept you with your foundation year.

Secondly you will have used your bonus year's student funding on your foundation year so where you to restart you need to check the position regarding student finance. It might well be you have to self fund your first year elsewhere.
