I have recently started my accommodation application and all that is showing up are residences in Ranmoor, are Endcliffe residences all sold out already? I'm not sure when exactly applications opened to know if it has been enough time for them to sell out but I know Endcliffe is really popular so I wouldn't be completely surprised lol.

Hiya,
Do not worry! Flats in Endcliffe come out in waves so there should still be options available in the portal in the coming few weeks. You may found more information in emails you have received but I remember from my first year you had until the end of June to apply for accommodation.
Either way, I am sure you will have a great time in whichever accommodation you do end up in as Ranmoor is just as social and have great facilities too!
Let me know if you have any more questions, Jivanthika

Hi how do you know once they are released, do you just have to keep logging on and checking or can you be notified ?

Hello I am admitted to Sheffield. My budget allows me to take a shared room. I saw that they were spread across the Crewe, Crecent Flat and Endcliff Vale Flats buildings. Can you tell me if a building is nicer? Thank you

Hi, They are all really nice! Crewe flats are about 7 people per flat, and they have a nice courtyard and green space right outside. I think Crescent flats have larger numbers of people per flat, but they have more kitchen space to account for it, and are about 2 minutes closer to the shops. So depends what is important to you, but they are all good options. Evie (4th year medic at UoS)
Hello I'm going to spend 1 year sheffield. I want to live on campus. Practical questions: how did you manage the sheets for the beds, did you take them in your suitcases? What is the size of a "single" bed How did you manage all the kitchen utensils : knife, fork, glasses, plates. I couldn't take everything in my luggage Thank you for your replies

Hello!
If you are struggling for luggage space, bear in mind that you can buy things like bedsheets or kitchen utensils when you are here! For example, TKMax has a great kitchen section and Primark do really affordable bedding. Other than that, I would recommend just bringing the essentials (which I'm sure you're already thinking about) as a lot of students tend to bring more things than they actually need; I know I certainly did!
I hope this helps! Feel free to ask any other questions if you need to.
