media studies coursework grades

so i’m in a little crisis, i managed to get 54/60 on my media coursework (which i believe would be an A*) my predicted grade is a B, but my written work is going terribly i’ve never gotten higher than a C in any of my mocks… would a B still be possible or does anyone have any help revision wise because i’m struggling there too!

Hey ! I dont do media but I do do film studies, so i can try to help, the A* is amazing so well done! It shows you know your stuff but I think you can get higher than a C, what do you struggle with in the essays? what other subjects do you do and if you have essays in those do you struggle with them? Just trying to work out if its a content issue or an essay writing issue, but even without this you can deffo get a B so I wouldn't worry too much about that :3

ah thank you so much! i take criminology and sociology, and in sociology i’m getting A/A* so id definitely think it’s more content based and knowing the correct things to put in the essay, as well as the theorist too haha i’ve tried help with my teacher but it really just isn’t going anywhere so thank you so much for helping!❤️
