I texted this guy I’m talking to we text every day. I said “Hope your day is well” and his response is “thank baby”.. didn’t say it back like have a good day too.. 😩 how should I respond ugh

Just be normal with him. If he continues to get short, then discuss it with him, but don't overthink things on the basis of one text message when you talk to each other anyway.
