data science so there wasn’t a coding exercise but it was still technical in nature

its online and was quite informal, you get to speak to lots of people from the company as well as current apprentices/graduates. there’s also a group exercise with other applicants. i’m assuming you’ve got an invite or are expecting one; either way good luck!

^^forgot to add you also have to prepare a presentation but they’ll give more details about this and other things to expect in the email

hey bluebear, do you have any advice for the group exercise? I have the SWE assessment centre coming up (not sure if I'm getting in however, because they said I passed the last stage but due to loads of applications not everyone can have a spot). Reason I'm asking bc I did JP morgan's assessment centre and wasn't sure whether to play the leader or more reserved in the group exercise.

as cliché as it sounds, be yourself! i also had the same thoughts as you when preparing but in the end, i decided to go with the flow of things instead of forcing myself to be someone i'm not.

So are there any interview questions like why do u want to be in the company and can the presentation be on anything?

I got the same email. Do you know when people will get to know if they r going to be a part of the assessment

you do get a one to one interview; also if you are invited, they may do a teams meeting with all applicants invited to the assessment centre to let you know more about what you can expect :smile:
