Hi there! I'm a first year Biomedical Science (BSc) student at London Metropolitan University!
At the time of writing I'm studying for my end of year exams and I'll be starting my second year in September. I've enjoyed my first year!

The modules have all been really interesting and the staff are really good at explaining. The academic mentors are great to reach out to if you find yourself needing some more explanation on a specific topic! My favourite modules have probably been Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2 because they cover such a wide range of body systems in great detail.

There are loads of overground and underground stations super close to the Holloway campus, which is where Biomedical Science would be taught. Holloway Road is just across the road and you've got Finsbury Park, Drayton Park, Highbury and Islington and Arsenal just 5-15 minute walks away. This gives great freedom when looking at accommodation since you'll be able to commute to campus rather quickly. There are also lots of accommodation available right near the university. Personally, I commute from home but from the student accommodation buildings I've seen my friends staying in look great!

The campus life is super diverse so you'll meet people with so many different experiences and interests and it's just a really friendly vibe all-round.

I'm sorry to see that this response is quite late compared to when you asked, but I wish you the best of luck with your studies!!
