can you get accepted into a uni after being rejected

like can you convince them in any way to accept you??
Not in the sense of calling them up and asking them to reconsider - that's not how it works. For undergraduate study it's certainly possible to reapply in a gap year or similar though, although you'd still need to meet the requirements and probably remedy whatever caused you to get rejected in the first place.

if competition for places were high you have no chance. They will fill their places with no problem. Your only option is to reapply next year but then there is no guarantee of an offer or go elsewhere.

This means other people had better academic profiles and/or stronger Personal Statements etc than you, and thats not something you can argue about, however disappointed you might feel.

It's technically possible for a university to reverse a rejection

In reality unless they made an error or missed some crucial information OR you ask to be considered for an alternate course then they are highly unlikely to reverse a rejection
