SpaG marks for typed essay

I am allowed to type my gcse exams - when i did my mocks, i typed for most subjects and all of my teachers gave me spag marks (in essay subjects) apart from my history teacher who said she can’t give me any spag marks because it was typed - this is worrying to me because spag marks are kind of important especially in english language but i don’t know if i’m going to be able to get them ! and i’d like to know so i know which questions type for and which to write for ! does anyone have any idea about this, anyone else type their exams, did it affect your grade? also i’m not exactly which forum this should go on sorry.

What software do you use to type your answers and, more importantly, does it have spelling checkers / grammar checkers enabled?

If it does, then you're at an unfair advantage when it comes to SPaG marks. If doesn't then your History teacher is an idiot as they should know this.

BTW, the regulations say that during your actual exam these feature will be off. So your mock should really have been done the same way. (See section 5.8.1 of this document which say, "Centres are allowed to provide a word processor with the spelling and grammar check facility/predictive text switched off".)
