Do oxford really take into account special circumstances?
ive had issues with domestic abuse, harsh bullying + mental health
This impacted my gsce time period and made me resit some gsces ultimately starting sixth form a year later as i had to spend a year resitting
My sixth form application is quite strong so im undecided on wether to apply as one of my options or not - ive also won essay competitions and done many super - curricular activities
the only thing letting me down is my gsces

You probably lose nothing from applying and having a go, so why wouldn't you if you think your application could be strong? Just go for it
