Hi @Anonymous #1,

Congratulations on receiving your offer to study MSC Forensic Science!

Although I'm not studying forensic science I can share my experience studying at Kingston University.

I found the lecturers to be helpful and also there is a wide range of supportive services such as academic success, career & employability, well-being and others.

The University has good transport networks with three train stations nearby; Surbiton, Kingston; and Norbiton, if you are planning on commuting.

My advice would be for you to check the modules at the university and consider which one you enjoy and find beneficial.

More information on Kingston MSC Forensic Science can be found here https://www.kingston.ac.uk/postgraduate/courses/forensic-science-msc/.

You can also book yourself to the postgraduate open days to have a look at the university as well as speak to the lecturers and students. https://www.kingston.ac.uk/open-days/postgraduate/

I wish you the best in your future endeavours!

Hi there

Congratulations on receiving your offers. 🙂 Although I do not study Forensic Science, generally the timetables at Kent depend on what modules you are taking, this could mean that students' timetables vary quite significantly.

For example, my friend used to have lessons on two days a week, and others could have lessons five days a week. However, I believe for most courses the lectures will be recorded (so you can replay these in your own time) if commuting is an issue. Alternatively, you may be able to request the timetabling team to change your timetable if it clashes with your other commitments. 🙂

Unfortunately since I do not study Forensic Science, I cannot comment on what the course is like. However, Kent is a really support environment, and the teaching staff are committed and friendly. I have always felt comfortable to ask any questions I have had during the course. Furthermore, Kent has a team of excellent careers advisors. They help students with interviews, applications and give tailored careers guidance. Knowing that there is always support available when I need it, has made my experience at Kent enjoyable. 🙂

I hope this helps.
