Transffering University from Foundation Year in Scotland to England

Hi,

I was just wondering whether it would be possible for me to transfer from a Foundation Year course at an Scottish University to the 1st or 2nd year of a Russel Group University / Top 20 Universities in the England. I want to achieve a BSc in Computer Science.

What the Foundation Year I am currently completing consists of:

Computing

Mathematics

Physics

Academic Skills

I did A Levels in England, however due to mitigating circumstances my performance was severely affected resulting in bad performance in my A Levels leading to BDE in Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics.

I am aiming to achieve 70% or above overall and approaching the end of the foundation year, the only subject causing slight issues is physics, however I believe I can get 70% overall when combining all the subject, due to my strengths in the other subjects.

Two options I am considering:
OPTION 1
- First Year transfer from Foundation Year:
I am aware that I may be to late to transfer to a first year computer science course this year, if this is not the case and it is still possible it would be great to know. Since this is through UCAS and the deadline has passed.

OPTION 2
- Stay at current university and complete 2nd Year @ Scotland University and Transfer to 2nd Year @ England University after completion of the 2nd Year in Scotland:
Scottish university courses are 4 years however the foundation course counts as my year 1 and I am able to move straight on to the 2nd year. I am wondering whether it would be possible to transfer to the 2nd year at an England university after completing 2nd year at the Scottish university? Therefore I would still have 2 years to complete at an England University.

If anyone can provide any guidance or information, I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you
