To which qualification are you referring? An Access to HE Diploma, perhaps? Or something else?

An Access to HE Diploma has 45 credits which "count". Unless you get at least a pass in all 45 of them, then you don't pass the Diploma and get zero UCAS points.

So we need to assume a starting point of 45 "pass" credits. Those get you 48 UCAS points. If 6 of those were distinctions rather than passes, you'd get 61 UCAS points.

You can try a few "what if" scenarios via the UCAS Tariff Points Calculator, here. Just pick Access to HE Diploma as the qualification, and then try various combinations of D, M and P credits (they'll always be in multiples of three, and must sum to exactly 45 - because that's how the qualification works).
