does smoking help

I've always been interested in smoking for the benefits of improved brain function. I've always been absent minded and really bad at focusing that I can never study. I also have a really bad memory. Saying all of this because I recently found a article saying that most geniuses are found to be smoking.
It doesn't improve brain function.

You'll find that people were geniuses who took up smoking rather than smokers who became geniuses. That said, it's hardly genius-level intelligence to do something that you know can cause cancer, heart disease, stroke, lung diseases, diabetes, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Is this a joke thread?

No.

Saying you've always been interested in alleged benefits of smoking without one word taking into account the definite damage and death is... unwise.
