Student Finance funding for a second degree in engineering?

I have already completed a Ba in Liberal Arts.
I am considering studying Beng in engineering or Meng in engineering with Open University, who on their website list these courses as eligible for student finance funding for part time tuition fee loans.
However, when looking at the eligibility criteria on the student finance website itself, it only lists:
-agriculture and related subjects
-architecture (if it’s a MArch RIBA Part 2 course)
-biological sciences
-computer science
-mathematical sciences
-medicine and allied subjects
-physical sciences
-technologies
-courses leading to qualification as a veterinary surgeon

In older questions I saw the criteria list engineering, so will this course not actually be funded even though open university says it will? Or is it classed under technologies/physical sciences?

Many thanks

Hi there,

Engineering and technology courses can be considered as exceptions at a Part Time level. Do you have the course codes so I can check the system to confirm it can be funded?

Thanks, Ross

Thanks.

Both of them would be exception courses so funding can be granted.

Thanks, Ross
