Hi Mason147,

My name is Will, I'm a Media Production Student at BU currently on my placement year.
Personally, I love being a student at BU, the university itself has two campuses and both aren't that large either so it is quite easy to find your way around. Our Student's Union is the best place to get involved with social events and hangout. We have over 200 clubs & societies via SUBU, everything from Ballroom & Latin Dance Society to the LGBTQ+ Iris Society & even Nerve Media (our student-led collection of media outlets including Radio, TV, Photography & News).

Not to mention Bournemouth has the perfect mix of urban & rural with Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Town's all in close proximity, the New Forest just north of Bournemouth and a quick train/bus journey from the town & the beach, only a 10 minute walk from our Student Accomodations: https://www.bournemouth.ac.uk/why-bu/accommodation

Hello thank you! You’ve really helped me what it’s like at Bournemouth University! One more question, are you vale to help me with what I need for 1st year like for bedroom, bathroom, kitchen etc, do you have a list or is there any links for check lists for 1st years as I’m trying to save up and not sure how much I’m needing,

Ikea do really great deals for university essentials with a package with the neceassity you can also find uni student packs.

First check which bed size in the accomdation so you get the correct bed protector and duvert!
