parking at university of York

does anyone know where you are supposed to keep your car if you live on campus? I'm eligible for a parking permit but not sure if the campus car parks are just for the day or if you can keep your car there

You can only have your car if you live in Halifax and it’s about £30 for the year.

So it looks like you’ll be able to park:
(West) Halifax, James, Sports Centre, Church Lane
(East) Field Lane, Kimberlow Lane

You can also apply for the permit at the link above - not sure if you need your hyms email yet or not.

Just to echo what phh03 has said:

As a Hull York Medical School student, you should qualify for a parking permit. You can apply for a student parking permit on our Student parking permits page

•

Student parking permits cost £35, apart from those for Garrowby Way, Accessible parking spaces permit and some special circumstances permits, which are free of charge.

An undergraduate campus parking permit would allow you to park your car in the following places:

•

Fairfax house

•

York Sport Centre Expansion

•

Campus South Car Park (6.1)

•

Halifax College

•

Field Lane

•

Kimberlow lane
