Website Issues - Parental Income

Hi,

My son has renewed his application for the 2024/25 year and I've been trying to provide my income details. However, I keep getting the Sorry, there is an issue with our service. Try again later message. I've been trying on and off for a month from various browsers and at various times of the day.

Any ideas when this will be fixed please? I've also cleared all browsing data and cache. Many Thanks

The parental income portal is incredibly “buggy” and the government has no interest in providing SFE with the funding or pressure to fix it.

Rather than wait for the bug to be resolved (to be frank it could be years!) download the pff2 pdf form and fill it in. Then get your child to upload the completed form on their application.

If you're unable to do this online you can submit and upload the following form to his account
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/65afcca870218e000cb41f9a/sfe_pff2_form_2425_o.pdf

This will then update in an estimated 18 working days. Thanks, Jason
