Transferring To City University

Would i have a chance to transfer to City university from another university in the first week or month of first year? I want to transfer City university for the Economics and Accounting BSc however I achieved a grade 5 in GCSE Maths but they require a 6, however I meet all the A Level requirements. Would it be possible for me to transfer?
Only City can answer this but it will almost certainly be a no if you don’t meet the GCSE requirements.

So there is little chance even if it is only one subject, and one grade below for that subject?
I saw someone with a post on tsr with the same situation who got in, Hopefully i can try to transfer in the first week

One in a million chance.
Flexibility for AL requirements are common. GCSEs ‘s aren’t because they’re there to give the uni comfort that you can keep up with that aspect of the course.

Clearing is for year 1 entry, and thread starter may be looking for year 2.

GCSE requirements tend not to change in clearing.

I'd be amazed if they had flexibility for GCSE requirements but yes, contact them when clearing starts to see if they have any leeway.

Once in a blue moon I have read on TSR of someone saying it's happened, but whether it is an accident on the uni's part I cannot say.

It's never happened at any uni I've worked at, (I work in admissions), bar the odd exception where we've interviewed someone in support of an English waiver or similar.

Are you enrolled somewhere else now, or will you be joining a course in Sept/Oct?

joining september

joining september

In that case all you can do is speak to them when clearing starts. I think it will basically be impossible once their course starts and you are enrolled elsewhere.
