bad gsce record

Im a mature student i had severe extenuating circumstances throughout my gsces

i also achieved A*A*A*A* in my alevels im really concerned about my gsce record and try not to blame myself but feel like a failure even though many things were out of my control .

There is nothing you can really do about it so I wouldn't worry about it. Although some of your grades are bad, there are also some really good grades as well. Also, universities do not consider GCSEs that heavily most of the time, they are more concerned with your A-level grades and personal statement (and interview if applicable).
