What technology do I need for uni?

I am starting to think about that kind of technology I will need next year for uni, but not sure exactly what to get.
I think I want a Macbook Air as this would be compatible with my phone, I’m also thinking of getting a Mac Mini but with this would it be too much to have a Macbook as well or should I go for an Ipad and get a keyboard attachment to take notes in lectures?

Hi, it'll probably help to consider what you're studying. I've gone with a second-hand MacBook Air purely for the reason of needing apple exclusive software for my music course, so I think it's important to consider whether or not you need anything in that sense. Otherwise, the price tag seems a bit questionable when there are plenty of other options that are just as good but cheaper.
