If you're trying to organise an elective placement, you'll need to get in touch with the hospital or community area's practice education team. A quick google search and I very quickly found their web page - here: Practice Placement Team (uhb.nhs.uk)
However, for any other placements, there is no such thing as resources for applying to placements; the university allocates placements not the student.

Hey, :hello:

As mentioned above, universities will normally allocate placements for its students.

However, some universities may have the option for you to express an interest in an particular area on where you would like to go on placement. This will typically be in your final year.

Universities allocate placements because it is important to get a variety of different placements to learn and develop new skills. You may have an idea on what you want to go into after you graduate however, you may be taken by surprise and really love another area which you may of not discovered if you didn't go on a particular placement.

It may be a good idea to contact the university to find out if you are able to express an interest in a particular placement.

I hope this helps.
