Law work experience

Anyone know how a 15/16 year old could get law work experience over the summer in wales
It’s unlikely that there will be many - and it’s not expected (or even beneficial in many cases).
A law degree is an academic degree. It’s only while at university that most people start to get work experience in law. Too much focus on work experience and jobs in a law application can be a negative as it demonstrates a misunderstanding of what a law degree involves.

Instead of work experience it’s more useful to do academic reading/learning on law topics. Listening to podcasts etc on legal issues and visiting magistrates and crown courts and following court cases is another free and easily accessed option.

I’d like to join an Ivy University or Russell group but I don’t know any extracurriculars to do because I read that you shouldn’t do random ones but ones that you have a clear passion and devotion for

Law at undergraduate is an ACADEMIC degree not a vocational one. Your super curricular activities need to be linked to academic studies of law. MOOCs, podcasts, engaging with the legal processes at courts. It’s a degree at this stage not a job.

Look at the course contents. Find out more about academic law topics. Particularly any topics that you find genuinely interesting.

Also start looking at what the LNAT involves.

All those things will be more useful to you right now than a week stuffing envelopes at a local solicitors.

You won't get into a Russell or ivy with work experience. Only by showing a passion for the academic study of law which is very different from law in practice, will you get an offer.

How do I show passion

Reading books about law, staying up to date with the news, reading about interesting case studies

How will they know I do that though

your personal statement, you will mention those because thats how you apply to university. i think you need to familiarise yourself with the application process, you'll understand more.
