im in year 11 (NI), and i have english lit unit 1 on the 13th of May (3 weeks away). I've been trying to revise, but my teacher hasn't taught us the essay structure for either part of the exam, i don't know how to approach the question, and i'm so scared. I've been trying to learn quotes and write some essays, but they never seem long enough and a bit waffley. What should i do?

My teacher always had this structure stuck on his wall, sqimecc, statement, quote, inference, method, effect on reader, context (if needed) and conclusion, I wrote this next to all the questions and it helped so much, as for amount of writing, once you’ve done a paragraph, go back over and look at every part of it and think “can I put another descriptor here” then edit as much as you want. Hope this helps!
