Hatfield/St Albans/Welwyn Garden City area?
Hi!
I'm a placement student looking for accommodation around Hatfield /St Albans/ Welwyn
Can anyone who's been in the area give me some insight of the general area? As in, if there are any particularly shady areas or any areas that people particularly like?

I was a student at the University of Hertfordshire and in my second year I lived on campus so I could give you some insight! I found the Hatfield area to be nice - I didn't have any instance where I felt uncomfortable or unsafe, and lived amongst students like myself.
St Albans is also really nice, I didn't live there at any point but I visited frequently and can say it has a really nice atmosphere there, with some great architecture (if that's something you're into)!

I'll be doing a year in industry, so the timings for that don't really mesh well with the contract dates of some student accommodations. I appreciate the links anyways!
