the story of othello
othello is a brave and respected general in the army. He marries a young woman named desdemona, who comes from a wealthy family.one of othello's officers, named iago, is very jealous of othello. Iago makes up a story that desdemona is being unfaithful to othello with another officer named cassio.
iago's tricks
iago tricks othello into believing that desdemona is cheating on him. He makes othello think that desdemona and cassio are having a secret romance.
othello's anger
othello becomes very angry and upset when he thinks desdemona is being unfaithful. He starts to believe iago's lies and tricks.
a tragic ending
in the end, othello becomes so jealous that he ends up killing desdemona. But then iago's tricks are discovered, and othello is devastated when he realizes he has been fooled. Othello then kills himself out of grief.
The story shows how jealousy and lies can lead to very sad and tragic events.
