SFE and student bank accounts

I wanted to apply for SFE even though I haven't had an offer back yet (I'm still waiting on 1 left) but it says I have to add in a student bank account on the application form in which I don't have, but when I try to open a student bank account it says I have to have an offer from a university, so what do I do, or should I just wait on my possible offer?
Also can I close a student bank if I don't end up going to university this year and open one again next year?

You can't open a student bank account until you have a confirmed place, which for most students will be after August results day. You can apply for student finance without a bank account at this stage - you will keep getting reminders but you can ignore them until August. In terms of unis on the SFE application, just put down the choice you would likely pick. Again, this can be changed easily once you have offers and have made your decisions. If you don't get a place this year, then you can cancel your student finance application.

As @normaw says, you need to have a confirmed place before applying for a student bank account.

Bear in mind that there's no requirement for the bank account that your maintenance loan gets paid into to be a "student" account. So you could put down an account you currently have, and then update the information later with the details of a student bank account if/when you open one.

Does it actually specify "student account" i.e. a specific account type designed for full time students, or does it just say "student bank account" i.e. any bank account with the student's name on it?

As I'm not entitled to a student account with my bank as a part-time student, but have no issues receiving SFE loans to it (as I did when I was full time and had a student account).
