Sheffield Accommodation

How do I apply for accommodation in Endcliff village or Ranmoor? Can you choose your building or the university assigns a room? I have not yet received my CAS (Certificate of Acceptance of Studies), can I still apply for accommodation in the residence? Thank you

Hii! Are you an international student or home student? Because i’m not sure about international students but if you are a home student then you can apply for accommodation once you have made Sheffield your firm choice. They release the rooms in ‘waves’ (like a set number of rooms at a time) so all of the ‘good ones’ don’t get taken up. I’m not sure about the full details of it as I have yet to apply, but my friend who has applied was able to choose the building and floor from what I remembered. I would recommend checking out their website which has all the details there! I will link the accommodation one here: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/accommodation/apply

Sorry, you might be better ask off asking someone who studies at Sheffield or contact Sheffield on their website about it.
