Computer Science: York or Southampton?

I have been accepted to both for identical Computer Science courses and am really struggling to make a decision.

Both places satisfy so many of my wants and needs: large department, good support networks, close public transport links, interesting topics... The list truly goes on.

I mainly have an interest in cybersecurity and have applied for courses with years in industry, if that's of any use.

Any insight from anyone would be very greatly appreciated!
Thanks

If both places meet your main needs you need to look at other things. Is travel home an issue? Do you want to live in a pretty historical city or a more urban one? What accommodation appeals more?

Both are very good universities. Good luck with your decision.

Were you accepted anywhere else too? Southampton is the better for this course, as reflected in the average grades obtained by entrants for Computer Science. If they'd been equally good, York would be asking for closer to the same grades as Southampton because, on average of all subjects, York does (York's just 1% higher for average entry grades across all subjects).
