BA Honours Early childhood degree - open university

Hi guys! Wondered if there's anyone else on here who will be, or have studied an early years degree that could give me any tips or some good books to purchase? First time doing a degree.. Nervous but excited. Also a mature student so have that added nerves.

Hi Leannejess33 I have enrolled to do the same course starting in October and its my first degree also! I work in a nursery and have a 4 year old, older kids and a house to run too! I'm doing it full time over 3 years with an aim to be a teacher or go into social work.

If you've got all that going on I would advise against doing 120 credits per year.
From an OU student 😉

I am an academic, I am super organised and spend most of my time doing courses, writing and research so I am sure I will be fine. Ive also asked someone I know how they coped doing it with children and working full time and they have said just to be organised and plan ahead so Im going for it! But thanks
