How can I get a 9 in GCSE history?

I’ve been stuck at an 8 (nearly a 9) in both of my year 11 mocks and as I am going to take history for a level, I’d really like to get a 9.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get my grade up?
My exam board is Edexcel and I’m doing Migration in Britain, Weimar/ Nazi Germany, Cold War and Elizabeth 1.

There’s no coursework for my exam board, it’s just the exams that you sit in May/ June

I keep getting grade 9's tbh, revise the content and plans paragraph based on key individuals and memorise

my teacher told us that not only do we need to know the summary of each subtopic but also small details which we can use in the exam for a better grade 😃

yeah i feel like paragraph plans are vital especially in history, im always getting 8s in mocks hope this time i can get a 9

Hey, I do GCSE Edexcel History and I have my Early Elizabethan England (1558-88) assessment this week. The 12 mark question is:-

"Explain why Elizabeth I introduced the religious settlement in 1559. (12 marks)"

These are my 3 causes/paragraphs:-

Please all religious groups

2.

Stop puritanism spreading

3.

Secure her position

Do you have any evidence I could use for these 3 causes
