Commute from Leeds to YSJ

I am an International student currently considering coming to YSJ in September 2024 to study Project Management. I have accommodation in Leeds and I am wondering if the commute to YSJ would be stressful. Can anyone assist with information regarding the frequency of lectures per week for the MSc PM, availability of trains from Leeds to YSJ and the average cost per week? Also, I heard there are commuters accommodation available at YSJ?

Hi there,

The commute from Leeds to York is defiantly doable especially on the trains as they are frequent and it is a fairly short journey. There are many people who do commute to YSJ from Leeds both by bus and by train. With your course being an MSc I would say you would probably be in one or two days each week however that can vary from course to course so it might be slightly more or slightly less. We do have commuters accommodation available for our commuting students to use.
