hii, i actually had mine today for journalism and i think it’s definitely worth going to. it was around a 40 minute call with the other applicants and one of the course’ lecturers. he asked us course related questions like what made you choose ba journalism, who are journalists that you look up to, what are you hoping to get out of the course and then we all took turns answering. we were then able to ask any questions we had and he gave us his email in case there were any more. a successful session gets you an ‘enhanced offer’ which i didn’t realise until i’d had mine actually means making your current offer unconditional.

Hi there,

As Ashantai correctly outlined, an enhanced offer will allow the academic staffs to give you a personalised offer related to the course you have an initial offer for. But for this to be successfully achieved, you must have showcased your knowledge and skills well during the session. The personalised offer can either be an unconditional offer just like for Ashantai or we could lower your offer and etc.

Best wishes,

Hi There,
i Hope you are doing well.
The Enhanced Offer Session at Coventry University is an opportunity to demonstrate your passion and potential for your chosen course. Conducted over Zoom, it typically includes activities like discussing your personal statement, engaging in group tasks, or answering questions about your goals and interests. These sessions allow the university to assess your enthusiasm, commitment, and suitability for the course.
If you perform successfully, you might receive benefits such as a reduced grade offer, which can make meeting the entry requirements more manageable.
Please let us know if you have any other queries or doubts about Coventry University

Thanks & Regards,
