I heard kingston is rly bad for their science related degree, but if ur set on pharmacy u might just wanna take up the offer since wat rly matters is tht u got the Mpharm degree.

KEYWORD: heard

Id say if ur not too keen on kingston and think ur gonna do well for ur a lvls then take a gap year and apply next yr with ur results.

Hi,

Firstly congratulations on your offer at Kingston! I have a few friends here that study the course and enjoy it! They have informed me that the course is being updated for next year in line with the General Pharmaceutical Council's standards so that once you graduate you can prescribe. So the course is accredited and up to date which is important when looking for employment after graduation. There is also placement within the course which is great for getting hands on experience.

My friends have also said that they find the lecturer's really helpful, they respond quickly, are there if you need them and the content they teach is useful.

I hope this helps! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask:smile:
Good luck making your decision.

hi ! as much as i would like to agree with the kingston rep as someone who has also experienced kingston, i unfortunately have to disagree... the lecturers are very much a hit or miss, some of the lecturers i have experienced myself were very rude and will take a week+ to respond or even not respond at all until u email them again for a second or third time. their definition of teaching is also repeating the same 2 topics over and over again for weeks and reading off the presentation while cracking a millennial cringe joke every now and then.. i was also told several times by our lecturer that we would have to teach ourselves organic chemistry just cause they had no time to do so . however on the plus side i did engage with i would say 2 lecturers, who responded in the same day/next working day and were nice and the way they taught their lectures aligned with my personal way of studying. the education is mid which u can expect from a lower university like kingston and imo majority of my course had the mindset of like we were still in secondary school.... this is me speaking as only having gone for one year and decided to leave to study at ucl though
