Studying A levels as an adult

I’m looking at changing career and a few companies I would like to apply for. The only route I can take from research is degree apprenticeship in computer science / software developing. However they seem to require 3 a levels particularly in STEM subjects. Anyone have experience of doing A levels as an adult and how do I go about this.

Hi - have you considered undertaking an Access to HE course instead? You can study them by online / distance learning and they’re (mainly) coursework based. It is possible to undertake a STEM based course via the online / distance learning route. What STEM subjects are you particularly considering?

A-levels would likely either require you to return to college to study them or study them by distance learning and then take the exams as an independent candidate at an approved centre or school / college willing to accept independent candidates.
